The 2013/14 Premier League season gets underway today. This season will start without one Sir Alex Ferguson, with “the happy one” Jose Mourinho, and six games later for Luis Suarez. There is a lot to be excited about if you enjoy the beautiful game, with all its local derbies, relegation battles and 4th place Champions League battles. What clubs are the favorites for the title, fourth spot, most entertaining team, worst team, most surprising team? We’ll break it down below:

Title favorite: Manchester City

If we be honest, Roberto Mancini didn’t have the trust of most of the locker room at the Etihad last season. Manuel Pellegrini will be a welcome addition to the club and will certainly handle the players much better than his predecessor, because he has done fairly well in the past with Real Madrid getting second place in the league and handling big players like Cristiano Ronaldo. Some say he shouldn’t have gotten the sack there because his circumstances were extra difficult to get results under.
